Detroit, MI – No stranger to the stage, big or bigger, Donnie has performed on stages all over the country, from large concert halls to smaller venues. He is not just exclusive to singing Rod Stewart’s music, but will sing as a solo artist as well.
The last weekend in March was the big kick-off for The Donny Rod Show in Davison on Saturday, the 28th following a show in Lewiston , Michigan on the 29th. Both shows featured a Las Vegas review performance with the legendary duo, the Las Vegas Tribute Brothers, and the doo-wop era, songstress Kelsey Rose appears. At the VFW show in Davison, Michigan Donny oscillated back and forth from stage to the audience with Rod Stewart’s favorite dance partner, the microphone stand.
Donny Rod fans also appreciate the fact that he does not emulate Rod Stewart’s shyness. In his early years, Rod Stewart had to tip a bottle of brandy, to flush his stage fright.
The next stage for Donny is on April 25 at the Johnnie Lega dinner club on the Pearl Beach in Algonac, Michigan. Johnnie Lega’s, accessible by land or water, historically served more than one million meals with impeccable service and top-notch entertainment.
In addition to his solo Rod Stewart show, Donnie tours and works with a mega-review tribute show featuring the musical impressions of such artists as Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Neil Diamond, Patsy Cline, and more. Inquire about that mega-review show, for prices and performers.
